Handgun used in store robbery

Police are looking for two male suspects wanted in connection with the armed robbery of Food Plus Market at 2914 Yonge St.

The incident happened on Friday, March 5 at about 12:50 a.m.

Investigators report two male suspects, one armed with a handgun, entered the store and approached the counter.

One of the suspects then allegedly pointed the gun at the clerk, ordered him to go behind the counter and demanded he open the cash register.

Both suspects then removed a quantity of cash from the till before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim was not injured.

The suspects are both described as 25-year-old black males.
