Suspicious death investigated by police

Toronto police are investigating the city's latest murder after a man was found dead late Monday, Feb. 8, in North York, 24 hours after another man was gunned down in York's Jane Street and Trethewy Drive area.

Police were called to 20 Falstaff Ave. in the Jane Street and Hwy. 401 area around 11 p.m. for reports of a suspicious death.

A man, believed to be in his 20s, was found with "obvious signs of trauma," according to media reports.

Police are treating the death as Toronto's seventh homicide of 2010.

Glenn Lowe, 30, was found shot to death outside a Jane Street house the previous evening.

No suspects have been arrested in either case.

Anyone with information regarding either case is asked to call police at 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.
