Man, 30, shot dead in Jane Street residence

Suspects sought after fatal shooting on Jane Street. Toronto police Homicide Squad and 12 Division officers investigate the city's latest murder following a shooting at 1562 Jane St. late Sunday night. Officers were called to the area for the sound of gunshots at around 11:15 p.m. to find a male with no vital signs on a rear porch of the address. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 30-year-old man was shot dead at a York home Sunday, Feb. 7.

Police were called to 1562 Jane St., north of Trethewy Drive, around 11 p.m. and found a man suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.

Glenn Lowe was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspects have been arrested and police are reviewing security footage from the area.

The death is the sixth homicide of 2010.

Police are asking anyone who knew the victim or who witnessed the shooting to call Det. Sgt. Dan Sheppard at 416-808-7814.
