Teen stabbed in stomach

A 17-year-old boy is recovering after being stabbed in the stomach in York Friday afternoon.

The violence occurred near Jane Street and Weston Road at 3:27 p.m.

The victim was taken to Sunnybrook hospital with serious injuries.

Police are looking for a man and a woman. Both were last seen heading south on Jane towards Eglinton Avenue.

The male suspect is Spanish, 5'10" to six-feet tall, 200 to 220 pounds with a light moustache and a heavy build. He wore a black toque, light blue jeans and a black leather jacket.

The female is Spanish, about 5'4" tall, 150 pounds with long brown hair and a heavy build. She wore a black toque, dark blue jeans and a black jacket and was carrying a backpack and a bag of nachos.
