Rossi slated to speak at meeting

Toronto mayoral candidate Rocco Rossi will speak at Birkdale Community Centre, 1229 Ellesmere Rd., this Monday, Feb. 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in a meeting arranged by residents.

Rossi, a fundraiser and business executive, has been critical of the city and province's Transit City plan for a light-rail network in Toronto.

The municipal election is set for Monday, Oct. 25.
