Suspect sought in knife-point robbery

Police are looking for a male suspect who allegedly robbed a 50-year-old female convenience store employee at knifepoint.

The incident happened on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 7:20 p.m. at Table Convenience, 462 Kingston Rd., near Waverley Road.

Investigators report that a male suspect wearing a disguise entered the store and approached the counter. The suspect then allegedly demanded the clerk hand over cash before he jumped behind the counter.

A struggle ensued and the suspect reportedly produced a knife and held it to the victim's side.

She then complied with his demand and opened the cash register.

The suspect removed a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

No one was injured during the ordeal.

The suspect is only described as a white male, about 20 years old.
