Police are looking for a male suspect who allegedly robbed a 50-year-old female convenience store employee at knifepoint.
The incident happened on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 7:20 p.m. at Table Convenience, 462 Kingston Rd., near Waverley Road.Investigators report that a male suspect wearing a disguise entered the store and approached the counter. The suspect then allegedly demanded the clerk hand over cash before he jumped behind the counter.A struggle ensued and the suspect reportedly produced a knife and held it to the victim's side. She then complied with his demand and opened the cash register.The suspect removed a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.No one was injured during the ordeal.The suspect is only described as a white male, about 20 years old.
