A 22-year-old Toronto man has been charged with sexual assault following an Oct. 23 incident near Carlton and Yonge streets.
Police report the accused, identified as Daniel Coppin, met a 19-year-old woman in a downtown bar.The victim and her friend alongside the accused and his friend then went to the accused's home. Once there, he allegedly sexually assaulted the woman.Police responded to a call for a sexual assault at 3:30 a.m. Coppin has a Nov. 23 court date.
