Etobicoke-Lakeshore Trustee Pamela Gough and representatives from the Toronto Lands Corporation will co-host an information meeting next month to update Alderwood residents on the sale of a portion of the Alderwood Collegiate Institute site.
The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) has identified 8.5 acres of the site - located south of Lanor Avenue and east of Thirtieth Street - as surplus to its needs, and is now set to place it up for sale on the open market.The information meeting will be held on Thursday, March 1 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Lakeshore Collegiate Institute, 350 Kipling Ave. Child minding will be available.
