Trio sought in variety store robbery

Three male suspects are being sought in connection with the robbery of Don's Milk at 129 Munro St. in Riverside.

The incident happened on Sunday, Jan. 29 at about 7:57 p.m.

Police report three male suspects wearing disguises entered the convenience store and went behind the counter.

A struggle ensued between the men and the store's 72-year-old owner.

The suspects then removed a quantity of cash from the register before fleeing the scene in an easterly direction through a laneway.

The victim was not injured.

The suspects are described as black males, about 23 years old, 5'6" to 5'9" and about 153 pounds with medium builds.
