A man is dead after being struck by a vehicle near Finch Avenue and Leslie Street Friday, Jan. 13.
Police said the man was standing on the roadway near a driveway on Forest Grove Drive when a vehicle reversed from a parked position and struck him around 9 p.m.The motorist drove the victim to hospital.The victim suffered head trauma and died in hospital at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday.This is the city's first traffic fatality of the year.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-1900 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
