Scarborough company holds holiday food drive

A southeast Scarborough company is hosting a food drive for the holiday season.

Residents can drop off non-perishable and canned food items in donation bins until Saturday, Dec. 17 at Interect Inc., 510 Coronation Dr., Unit 17.

Drop off hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Food collected will go to the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities.

To celebrate the food drive's culmination on Dec. 17, a movie with an environmental theme will be shown from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Coronation Drive offices. Interect is a wholesale distributor of solar systems and provides solutions for on- and off-grid applications.
