A BIXI Toronto station is coming to the city's east end.
The year-round bike-share provider is relocating one of its stations currently on the CNE grounds to the southwest corner of Trinity and Front streets in The Distillery Historic District.
Starting Nov. 26, 17 stations are being relocated, while one station near Phoebe and Spadina avenues is being expanded with the addition of 24 new docking points.
BIXI Toronto, which has nearly 4,000 members, has been working closely with the City of Toronto to study the performance of its stations.
Some stations with low levels of use were relocated to busier areas, while others were moved to accommodate snow removal.
These changes will mean BIXI Toronto is doubling its coverage area.
