Trailer stolen with a side order of fries

This theft came with a whopping side order of fries.
Peel Regional Police are on the lookout for a refrigerated tractor-trailer loaded with 30 skids of McCain Frozen French Fries that was stolen last Friday night from a yard on Dixie Rd. in Mississauga.
At about 11 p.m., a trailer bearing licence plate number C6720M was removed from a storage parking lot at 5425 Dixie Rd. The white refrigerated trailer, valued at $75,000, had the words "Autopro Logistics" emblazoned in red lettering on each side.
The missing load of fries is worth an estimated $100,000.
The trailer was removed by a purple Western Star tractor marked with silver lettering.
The Peel Regional Police commercial auto crime unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 905-453-2121, ext. 3313.
Earlier this year, thieves made off with two tractor trailers bearing 100,000 bottles of Moosehead beer, but police arrested someone in that case.
Officers say suspicions that the two crimes might be linked, in hopes of hosting the best Super Bowl Party of all time, appear to be unfounded.
