Those looking for cheap gas should head to Warden and Eglinton on Friday, July 29 - those looking to avoid a possible traffic jam should stay away.
In an effort to promote its new price drop protection plan, FlightNetwork.com is dropping the price of gas by $0.50 a litre at the Tru-Value Gas Bar at 933 Warden Ave. (north of Eglinton Avenue).
The promotion comes just in time for the long weekend. The price drop begins at 8 a.m. on July 29 and runs until 20,000 litres of price-dropped gas runs out (estimated to be four to five hours).
Each vehicle will be allowed to purchase 50 litres of fuel at the discounted price - gas can fill-ups are not permitted. There will also be random giveaways on-site - something to keep people busy while they're waiting in line.
The Price Drop Protectionplan is a free program, exclusive to FlightNetwork.com customers on all economy flights. It allows consumers to track flight price drops after they buy and, when a price drop occurs, lock in the savings.
