Use pomegrante in your New Year's drinks

The flavour sensation of 2006 and 2007 continues as pomegranates make spirits bright and dishes dance with its ruby red colour.

The pomegranate was first discovered growing in North Africa and the Near East.

France was quick to delight in the fruit, which was brought to North America by European travellers. California is now one of the largest producers of the fruit, which is in peak season over the holidays. In the last three years, more than 190 products have emerged up from 31 products in 2003.
