Rossi wants a closer look at Transit City

Toronto mayoral candidate Rocco Rossi today vowed he'd push for a moratorium on all Transit City projects, save for the Sheppard LRT, until he's satisfied as to their financial feasibility.

Rossi made the comments during a speech at the Empire Club of Canada.

Among the Transit City projects are LRT lines for Finch, Eglinton and a third line that will head east from Kennedy subway station to northeast Scarborough. Lines for Don Mills Road and Jane Street are also planned.

More to come.
