EVERY CHILD loves a fairy tale and what better place to be part of one than in a real castle. Children are given the chance to live a fairy tale through an enchanted tour of the main house at Casa Loma. Following this tour, Anastasia and her playful hand puppets will dip into her story-basket filled with imagination to weave the audience through a telling of the tale. Please note that lunch is not provided. After lunch, your child will have an opportunity to make their own animated movie of the fairy tale in a two-hour animation program, provided by Children's Technology Workshop, introducing children to stop motion animation production. Animations are created using digital cameras and capture software and children learn about all aspects of the production process as they work in teams to write, direct and produce their own fairy tale short film. Pre-registration for this special event is required. For information, please email operations@casaloma.org. To register, please call 416-923-1171, ext. 205 or ext. 215.
