Police seek suspects and witnesses to three local robberies

Police are looking for four male suspects who robbed the Neighbourhood Mini Mart on Kingston Road Monday, June 30.

The store's 61-year-old owner told police that four disguised people entered his establishment and approached the counter. One suspect then allegedly brandished a knife and demanded cash. The victim refused and a struggle followed. The man was punched and fell to the ground with minor injuries.

The suspects then removed a quantity of cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes. The thugs fled the scene southbound on Elmer Avenue.

Police are looking for four males. Three suspects are described as white males, six- to six-foot one-inch tall, 150 to 154 pounds with a thin builds and brown hair. The last suspect is described as a white male, four-foot nine- to four-foot 11-inches tall, 90 to 99 pounds with a thin build and brown hair.

A group of friends in their late 20s and early 30s were robbed of their cash, a wallet and bank cards on Saturday, June 28 by four people wearing disguises.

Police report the incident took place on the beach near Coxwell Avenue and Queen Street East.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction and no one was hurt in the incident.

The first suspect is described as a black male, six-feet tall with a medium build. The second is a white male, five-feet-four- to five-feet six-inches tall. The third suspect is a black male, five-feet six- to five-feet eight-inches tall with a medium build. The last suspect is a female, five-feet six- to five-feet eight-inches tall with brown hair and a medium build.

All suspects are described as 20 to 25 years old.

A 47-year-old man was robbed of his cash at gunpoint on Saturday, June 28.

The victim told police he was near Gerrard Street East and Woodfield Road at 11:45 p.m. when he was approached by two males who demanded he hand over his money.

One suspect then allegedly produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim.

The suspects also demanded he hand over his jewelry, which the victim refused to do before escaping.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim was not hurt.

Police are looking for a male, 27 to 30 years old, five-feet 10-inches tall, 169 pounds with brown eyes and a male 27 to 30 years old, five-feet 10-inches tall and 220 pounds.
