Catch new Theatre Guild production if you can

American comedic thriller runs Jan. 3-19

The new year will ring in with a new production by the Scarborough Theatre Guild.

Catch Me If You Can, written by Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert, kicks off Thursday night and runs until Jan. 19.

Directed by Jacqui Burke and produced by Frank Pataky, the cast includes Ali Adatia (in the role of Daniel Corban), Peter Pequegnat (Inspector Levine), Jerry Chadwick (Father Kelleher), Sophia Panousis (Elizabeth Corban), Tony Medici (Sidney), Melanie Groom (Mrs. Parker) and James Woods (Everett Parker).

This American comedic thriller with a twist is about an advertising man who asks police to investigate the sudden disappearance of his bride who he brought to a mountain lodge for their honeymoon. He is astonished when the local priest brings another woman who insists, despite his protests, that she is his wife.

Performance dates at Scarborough Village Theatre, 3600 Kingston Road, are Jan. 3-5, 10-12, 17-19 at 8 p.m. There is one Sunday 2 p.m. matinee Jan. 13.

Tickets are $17 and seniors and students can get them for $14 on Thursdays and Sundays. Also, student rush tickets at $10 may be available starting one hour before showtime.
