A 24-year-old man was hurt during a robbery near McCowan Road and Benleigh Drive this week.

Police said the victim was approached by a car, possibly a gold Honda Accord, near McCowan Road and Benleigh Drive around 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22.

The driver asked if he could use the victim's phone. When the victim complied, the motorist drove off with the victim holding onto the vehicle.

The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The suspect is 180 to 210 pounds with brown eyes, short brown hair and a heavy build.
