Subway lines back up and running after person struck by train

City Centre Mirror

TTC subway service has resumed following a Saturday morning incident that saw Line 2 shut down between Ossington and Broadview stations after a person was struck by a train at St. George station.

Trains along the Bloor-Danforth line were suspended for over an hour, turning back east at Broadview and west at Ossington as a result of the incident, and trains on the University-Spadina line bypassed St. George station as response teams addressed the incident.

Details surrounding the collision were not immediately available due to privacy issues. Subway service resumed early Saturday afternoon.
