uReport: Weston Village BIA announces Santa Parade winners

York Guardian

The Weston Village BIA is proud of another successful Santa Parade and has selected winners for their quality float entries.

“We had over 40 entries in the competition and we had a really hard time picking winners as they were all so good this year,” said BIA co-ordinator Marion O’Sullivan in an email. In total, five entries were selected.

Danceology, a Dufferin and Eglinton-based dance school, received the best overall entry award.

The Learning Enrichment Foundation picked up the most creative float award.

Toronto police’s 12 Division received the award for most consistent entry.

Weston Baptist Church and the Army Navy Air Force Unit York 383 rounded out the top five entries.

The parade took place in November, while winners were awarded in December.
