Suspects identified in kidnapping, beating of woman

Scarborough Mirror

Police are looking for three women and a man after a woman was kidnapped and beaten in Scarborough.
Police allege that between Dec. 18 and 21 a woman was held against her will at an apartment in the Lawrence Avenue and Kingston Road area and was repeatedly beaten.

The victim was then taken to a second apartment near Danforth and Kingston roads.

She was then placed in a vehicle and driven to nearby Bluffers Park where she managed to escape and alert a passerby.

Police were called to the Scarborough Bluffs area at 3 p.m. Dec. 21.

The suspects have been identified as John Brown, 44; Allison Bray, 35; June Wilson, 36, and Elanna Marki, 40.

Brown is believed to be driving a 2005 black Dodge Caravan bearing an Ontario licence plate of BAJD 021.

“The public is advised to use extreme caution and call police immediately should they come into contact with either the suspects or the vehicle,” police alleged in a news release.

Anyone with information is asked to call 41 Division at 416-808-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
