Toronto police say they suspect one man has visited nine Scarborough gas stations in the last year and drove away without paying.
In each case between March 2012 and February 2013, the driver who failed to pay for his gas was in a gold or beige Pontiac Grand Am, model year 2000 to 2005.
The car had the Ontario licence plate BFSB 544, which is stolen, police said.
Police described the suspect as white, 40 to 50 years old, six feet tall and 220 pounds.
