Whitby man arrested in connection with sex assault on GO Train
Police have arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault last week on the Lakeshore East GO Train.
A 15-year-old girl reported a man sat close to her, appeared to take pictures of her and then sexually assaulted her as the train stopped at Rouge Hill Go Station at about 4 p.m. on Feb. 6, Toronto police said in a release.
The girl left the train at the station and the man followed her a short distance before fleeing.
Police released a video image of a suspect near the station last week.
Christopher Fraser, 27, of Whitby was arrested Feb. 13 and charged with sexual assault, voyeurism for a sexual purpose, indecent acts, criminal harassment and obtaining transportation by fraud.
Police said there may be more victims and are asking people with information to call 416-808-7474, or anonymously at Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
