Chaminade College School graduate James Bodanis was recruited to play football for Michigan State University starting in September.

Bodanis will hang up is blue and white uniform from the University of Toronto Blues, where he’s been a lineman since 2010, to suit up as a Spartan.

This is the second time an alumnus from Chaminade has been recruited to play in the United States; the first was Tevaun Smith who plays for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

A signing ceremony took place Wednesday, Feb. 6.
