Condo dwellers, city staff discuss issues

Etobicoke Guardian

Condominium residents in Etobicoke are invited to attend an upcoming consultation with City of Toronto staff.

The purpose of the consultation is to engage with condo residents, condo boards, businesses located in condo buildings, property managers, city staff and others to identify possible changes to city policies related to condo living in Toronto.

Some issues that have already been raised include: access to parks and dog parks; recreational and community amenities; parking, bike parking and visitor parking; and childcare options in the neighbourhood.

The focus of the two-hour meeting will be identifying the issues that condo residents are currently experiencing and then developing a set of ideas to help the City of Toronto address those issues.

The Etobicoke meeting will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21 at All Saints Kingsway Anglican Church, 2850 Bloor St. W. (at Royal York Road).
