Police identify remains in Thornhill as those of North York man

North York Mirror

Police have identified remains found in Thornhill as those of a North York senior who went missing more than a year ago.

Robert Hagans’ skull was discovered Sunday, Jan. 13 at Uplands Golf and Ski Club, near Hwy. 407 and Bathurst Street, after a passerby noticed it and called police.

Hagans was last seen July 22, 2011, near his Don Mills Road and Finch Avenue home. He was 76 at the time.

Police do not suspect foul play.
