A woman is in hospital after she was hit by a TTC bus Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Police said the woman, 47, was struck at Steeles Avenue and Signet Drive, near Weston Road, as she attempted to cross the street just before 7 a.m.

She was briefly trapped under the bus and was taken to hospital for treatment of leg injuries, police said.

No charges have been laid.
