East York’s Children’s Peace Theatre hosts a winter solstice event this Friday, Dec. 21.

The celebration goes from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Children’s Peace Theatre which is located at 305 Dawes Rd.

The evening will consist of lantern procession, a performance, a flag ceremony and a concert.
