Two Oshawa men have been arrested and charged with armed robbery in connection with a violent bank hold-up in Scarborough.
Toronto police say a man with a handgun and his face disguised entered a bank near Ellesmere Road and Midland Avenue at 1:50 p.m. on Dec. 7 and assaulted a teller before leaving with some money.
Another man was outside in a waiting car. Last Friday, Dec. 14, police searched a home near Oxford Street and Spadina Avenue and seized a semi-automatic handgun, a replica handgun and some 12-guage shotgun shells.
Nathaniel Lee, 19, and Raphel Lee, 22, of Oshawa both face armed robbery and firearms-related charges. Lee is also charged with disguise with intent.
