Colle supporting Pupatello’s bid for leadership

York Guardian

Eglinton-Lawrence MPP Mike Colle is throwing his support behind former Windsor West MPP Sandra Pupatello for Ontario’s top job.

“I’ve worked with all of them (leadership candidates) and I am very impressed by Sandra’s passion for the little guy,” Colle said. “Some of the others are excellent too, like (Don Valley West MPP) Kathleen Wynne, but I think Sandra has fire in her belly.”

Along with Wynne and Pupatello, others vying for Ontario premier are St. Paul’s MPP Eric Hoskins, Toronto Centre MPP Glen Murray, Mississauga South MPP Charles Sousa, Mississauga-Erindale MPP Harinder Takhar and former Parkdale-High Park MP and MPP Gerard Kennedy.

The new leader will be named at the Ontario Liberal leadership convention Jan. 25 to 27, 2013.
