Police have now released photo of the vehicle and a composite sketch of a man wanted in connection with a Nov. 28 hit-an-run collision in East York.
The accident happened at about 5:23 p.m. near Main Street and Doncaster Avenue.
Investigators report a 14-year-old girl was struck by the driver of a white pick-up truck travelling eastbound through the intersection.
At the time of the collision, the girl was attempting to cross Doncaster Avenue from the south side to the north side on the east of Main Street.
The driver fled the scene eastbound on Doncaster Avenue.
The victim, who was transported to hospital for treatment, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for a two-door white GMC pick-up truck, without a cab and an empty box. The pick-up has blue writing on the side.
The driver is described as a white male with a darker complexion, about 45 years old with a white ‘handlebar’ moustache and a heavy muscular build.
He was last seen wearing a blue checkered, zip-up sweater.
