Methadone allegedly stolen from Danforth coffee shop

Police are asking for the public’s help after a man’s bags containing methadone were reported stolen from a Danforth Avenue coffee shop.
The robbery happened on Thursday, Nov. 22, around noon at a café at 1195 Danforth Ave., at Greenwood Avenue.
Police report the victim left his bags, which contained doeses of methadone, unattended while he placed an order,
He noticed his belongings were missing a short time later.
This medication could be harmful or even fatal, if ingested by children.
