Voter cards being sent in Scarborough byelection for separate school trustee

Scarborough Mirror

Voter cards are being mailed to residents eligible to choose a new trustee in the Toronto Catholic District School Board byelection next month, the City of Toronto said this week.

Ten candidates are vying for the post in TCDSB Ward 8, which includes much of northern and eastern Scarborough. Cards will tell residents where they go to vote in the Dec. 1 advance poll or the Dec. 10 election.

Separate school board supporters who do not receive a card by Dec. 1 can call Election Services at 416-338-1111 to be told where to vote, or they can use the Where Do I Vote feature on the city’s website http://app.toronto.ca/vote/whereTOVote.do to find out, the city said.

Voting places will be accessible, but the city said voters who wish to use an assistive device called the Voter Assist Terminal on election day should call Election Services or email AccessibleElections@toronto.ca by Dec. 5.
