Gunpoint robbery near Danforth and Main Nov. 18

Two 24-year-old men were the victims of a gunpoint robbery on Sunday, Nov. 18.

The swarming happened at about 2:30 a.m. near Main Street and Danforth Avenue.

Police report a group of five suspects approached the victims.

One of the suspects then allegedly produced a handgun and punched one of the victims in the face before demanding both men hand over their personal property.

That same suspect reportedly searched the victims’ pockets and removed their belongings as the other four suspects stood by.

All five suspects then fled the scene eastbound on Danforth Avenue with the victims’ iPhone, identification, jewelry and a quantity of cash.

The victims were not injured.

The first suspect is described as a white male, about 26 years old, and 5’9” with short brown hair and brown eyes. The other four suspects are only described as white males, about 27 years old.
