Toronto Community Housing hosts meeting in Scarborough

Scarborough Mirror

Tenants and members of the public can arrange to speak when Toronto’s community housing authority hosts a special board meeting in Scarborough on community safety this Thursday, Nov. 22.

The meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tam O’Shanter Towers, a highrise at 3825 Sheppard Ave., west of Kennedy Road and across from the Agincourt Mall.

Toronto Community Housing Corporation this week said CEO Gene Jones and authority staff will address the board, but so can anyone who signs up at the meeting or by calling TCHC Client Care at 416-981-5500.

An agenda will be posted before the meeting at http://torontohousing.ca/board/meeting/special_board_meeting_re_community_safety

TCHC provides homes to 164,000 tenants, about six per cent of the city’s population.
