Village of East Toronto Christmas Parade set for Nov. 25

Beach Mirror

The seventh annual Village of East Toronto Christmas Parade is coming to town Sunday, Nov. 25.

This year’s event, themed Jingle Bells, will run westward along Kingston Road from Victoria Park Avenue to Walter Street and back to Community Centre 55 (CC55) at 97 Main St. at Swanwick Avenue.

The parade is set to begin at 1 p.m.

Individuals or groups interested in taking part must register by Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Following the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as Hamper The Reindeer (CC55’s mascot), will be receiving children at the local community centre.

The post-parade gathering will serve as the launch party for CC55’s annual Share-A-Christmas campaign, which provides needy local families and individuals with food and gifts during the holiday season.

All are welcome to attend.

Call Nancy Culver at 416-691-1113, ext 224 or email nancy@centre55.com for details.
