Woman charged after distraction thefts at LCBO stores
A woman faces 10 charges following a series of thefts at LCBO stores.
Police allege a woman drove a number of people to LCBO stores. One suspect would cause a distraction in the stores while the others stole liquor.
“During the thefts, a vehicle licence plate and car description were obtained,” police alleged in a news release.
A woman was arrested after officers from the 55 Division major crime unit spotted the vehicle in the Pharmacy and Danforth avenues area.
On Nov. 13, police executed a search warrant at a home near Pharmacy and Eglinton avenues and seized 650 grams of hashish, 2,250 grams of marijuana and two Tasers.
Also seized were switchblades, Oxycodone and Percocet.
Susan MacAulay, 46, has been charged with possessing property obtained by crime, possessing marijuana, possessing hashish, possessing a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, three counts of theft and two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited device.
