Man faces 11 charges after two women sexually assaulted

Police have charged a 20-year-old Toronto man with 11 offences after two women were sexually assaulted in the Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue area Monday, Nov. 12.
The suspect, accompanied by his mother, turned himself into 12 Division around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Speaking to reporters at police headquarters on Wednesday, Det. Sgt. LeeAnn Papizewski of the sex crimes unit said the attack appeared to be random.
Two women, aged 25 and 30, were sexually assaulted inside their home after a man, posing as a newspaper salesman, brandished a knife and forced his way in around 10 a.m.
The attacker suffered a torso wound and one victim was taken to hospital for undisclosed injuries.
Jewelry and cellphones were stolen during the incident, Papizewski said.
Witnesses onboard a TTC bus alerted police to possible footage of the suspect, which showed clear images of the accused, she said.
Alaa Ali Hejazi has been charged with two counts of forcible confinement, break and enter commit, two counts of threaten bodily harm, two counts of sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of robbery, threatening death, and possession of property obtained by crime.
