Scarborough Music Theatre nominated for three Broadway World Toronto Awards

Scarborough Mirror

Scarborough Music Theatre has been nominated for three Broadway World Toronto Awards.

Theatre web site BroadwayWorld.com has opened voting for its 2012 BroadwayWorld Toronto awards and Scarborough Music Theatre (SMT) is nominated in three categories.

In addition to a nomination for Best Community Theatre, SMT’s May 2012 production of My Fair Lady is nominated for Best Community Theatre Production and choreographer Diane Klich is nominated for Best Original Choreography for her work on the February 2012 production of Nunsense.

“These awards are audience choice awards and it would mean a lot to the cast and crews who worked on the shows to have our audiences vote for our shows,” says SMT publicity coordinator Mike Scott.

Voting for the awards can be done through the BroadwayWorld.com web site (http://toronto.broadwayworld.com/vote2012region.cfm?region=Toronto) and voting runs through Dec. 31.
