Man, 30, shows up at TEGH with gunshot wounds

Beach Mirror

Police are asking for the public’s help after a 30-year-old man showed up at Toronto East General Hospital Saturday night, Oct. 13, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators received a call reporting the sound of gunshots near Blake Street and Boultbee Avenue Saturday at 10:06 p.m.

According to police, prior to being shot, the victim was retrieving some personal property at a residence at 10 Boultbee Ave.

He left that address, travelled east of the building and north along a pathway when he saw a man standing against a wall, police said.

That unknown suspect then allegedly produced a handgun, pointed it at the victim and fired at least three shots striking him several times in the hands and legs.

The victim was found at the nearby hospital.

His injuries are classified as serious, but not life threatening.

The suspect is only described as a male, 5’5”. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, grey track pants and white running shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5500, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), online at www.222tips.com, or text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637).
