A man injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening has been charged with impaired driving.
Police said a motorcyclist was heading north on Keele Street when the bike struck a northbound Ford Escape SUV near Strathnairn Avenue, north of Eglinton Avenue, around 7:40 p.m.
“The motorcycle rider was thrown from his bike,” Const. Clint Stibbe said.
Paramedics took the man to a trauma centre where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Stibbe, of the traffic services unit, said the motorcyclist was later arrested and charged with impaired driving.
The driver of the SUV wasn’t hurt.
