"Wearable Structures" by jewelry designer Amir Sheikhvand is on at rzbld atelier from Feb. 7 to 15. This exhibition unfolds as both objects and installations; it challenges viewers to question their values and blurs conventional boundaries which is a characterizing feature of Sheikhvand's practice. It is about objects with value beyond the immediate, wearable structures that cherish the ancient techniques, adorn the present and investigate the contemporary jewelry design. The featured works purpose is clearly drawn from several different cultural and aesthetic traditions and resonates with the open ended and experimental approach that has pervaded the contemporary jewelry world since the 1950s.

rzlbd atelier, in the Bayview and Sheppard avenues area, is hosting a show from Feb. 7 - 15. The show is entitled, 'Wearable Structures', and is by a jewelry designer named Amir Sheikhvand.
