Setting up feeders in your yard is a wonderful way to help our feathered friends. This workshop will guide you in getting started. Learn the foods attract certain birds, how to deal with hungry squirrels, the different styles of feeders and some tips on turning your yard into a habitat. Find out how you can participate in Project FeederWatch, a citizen science program that gathers important bird population data with your help. We will spend some time outside to practice identifying birds at our feeder station with seasoned bird experts to help and answer questions.
