This month's guest speaker is Dr. Alexandra Palmer, the Royal Ontario Museum's senior curator of the Textiles and Costume Department. Dr. Palmer will talk about: who, why and how Torontonians acquired beautiful couture fashions in the post-war era - in particular the lavish wardrobe of Dorothy Boylen, who lived in The Kingsway and appeared on the best-dressed lists of the time.
