Electrolysis (a Proven Method of Permanent Hair Removal)

Your initial consultation will help us determine how many sessions of Electrolysis are required, evaluating progress after each session. When finished, you’ll be left with your lovely, hairless body and a feeling of soft and smooth skin.

Extremely Effective

Electrolysis has been documented to permanently and completely remove hair in around 90-93 percent of people who undergo electrolytic hair-removal.

Safe

Electrolysis is medically approved to be a safe way of permanently removing hair.

Removes Hair Anywhere on Body

Electrolysis can be used to remove hair from any body part like eyebrows, forearms, underarms, legs and even from sensitive areas like breasts and stomach. It is best and most commonly used for removing hair from face and other small body areas however.

At this time, it is the only permanent option for very fine and light-colored hair. The FDA currently allows the term "Permanent Hair Removal" for electrolysis only. Unlike laser epilation, electrolysis is effective on all hair colors.

Number of Sessions

The number of sessions depends on various parameters, including the area of the body treated, skin color, coarseness of hair, reason for hirsutism, and sex. Coarse dark hair on light skin is easiest to treat. Hair on darker skin is harder to treat. Finer hair is only sometimes affected. Certain areas (notably men's faces) may require considerably more treatments to achieve desired results. In addition, since hair grows in several phases (anagen, telogen, catagen) and laser can only affect the currently active growing follicles (anagen), several sessions are needed to kill hair in all phases of growth.

Cost Effective

With electrolysis you can forget having to regularly purchase products for hair removal ever again!

Call Neece Electrolysis today and learn about your options for smooth, hairless, skin.

Laser Hair Removal

Photolysis, is light energy that is produced by the laser, and is targeted at the pigment in hair. This effectively destroys hair follicles while sparing surrounding structures.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) epilators, though technically not a laser, use xenon flash lamps that emit full spectrum light. Laser and light-based methods, sometimes called phototricholysis or photoepilation, are now most commonly referred to collectively as "laser hair removal".

We will work with you to determine the number of treatments that would be necessary to achieve this.
