Breakfast bars or cookies.
This breakfast bar has aboug 4 grams of fibre per serving.

1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose or whole wheat flour
1 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1 cup raisins
1/2 tsp each baking soda and salt
4 cups Cheerios
Heat oven to 375 F.
Stir together sugar, butter, peanut butter, water, vanilla and egg in a large bowl.
Stir in remaining ingredients except cereal. Gently stir in cereal.
Pour into ungreased 9x13-inch rectangular pan.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars.
Store loosely covered.
To make breakfast cookies: Make dough as directed above and drop by rounded 1/3 cupfuls four inches apart onto ungreased large baking sheet. Flatten dough to about one-inch thick. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand five minutes before removing from baking sheets.
