Foodies unite for annual winter food fest

Winterlicious is back.

The City of Toronto's popular mid-winter prix-fixe menu event runs Jan. 27 through Feb. 9 at participating restaurants throughout the city.

Restaurants start taking Prix Fixe reservations this Thursday, Jan. 12. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Prix fixe lunch and dinner do not include taxes and gratuities.

Participating restaurants in Bloor West, High Park and The Junction include:

* Aquila Restaurant, 347 Keele St. in The Junction ($15 lunch; $25 dinner) - Italian bistro

* Bloom, 2315 Bloor St. W. near Runnymede Road ($20 lunch; $35 dinner) - Contemporary

* Domani Restaurant and Wine Bar, 335 Roncesvalles Ave. near Grenadier Road ($25 dinner) - Italian fusion

* Earth, 2448 Bloor St. W. west of Jane Street ($15 lunch; $25 dinner) - Local

Participating Winterlicious restaurants in Etobicoke include:

* Cafe du Lac, 2350 Lake Shore Blvd. W. near Albert Avenue ($35 dinner) - French

* La Petite France, 3317 Bloor St. W. east of Islington Avenue ($15 lunch; $25 dinner) - French

* Pulcinella Ristorante Italiano, 3687 Lake Shore Blvd. W. at Thirty-Seveth St. ($20 lunch; $35 dinner) - Italian

* The Old Mill, 21 Old Mill Rd. east of Royal York Road ($20 lunch; $35 dinner) - Continental

* ViBO, 2995 Bloor St. W. east of Royal York Road ($20 lunch; $35 dinner) - Italian and International
