The annual Parkdale and Roncesvalles Earth Hour walk is set for Saturday, March 25, in support of climate action.

This year, the two walks will occur from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., one west along Queen Street and one south down Roncesvalles Avenue. Both walks will converge at the intersections of King Street, Queen Street and Roncesvalles Avenue.

The focus for this year’s walk will be to help start Green 14, a green neighbourhood group for Ward 14 with the purpose of educating and engaging residents about climate action strategies.

Those interested in participating are being asked to gather at 8:15 p.m. at either Parkdale Library or Roncesvalles Dundas Peace Garden.

Also, organizers are asking walkers to bring their own candles.
